**All families will recive a DVD slide show with pictures from this semester.

Daily Schedule

Every day at Lauren's Little Learners Preschool will be filled with fun and learning.

We will have an exciting theme for each week that every activity,

game, snack, song, and craft will be based on.

9:30-9:45 Gathering Activity

We will put out some toys, blocks, or other things for the children to play with,

while we wait for our other friends to come.

9:45-10:00 Circle Time

We will introduce the children to the calender,

seasons/weather, letter of the week, sing songs,

and take turns bringing something from home to share with everyone.

10:00-11:00 Activities, games, and crafts (based on the weeks theme)

11:00-11:20 Snack and Story

While the children eat a special snack based on the theme,

One of the teachers will read them a story related to what we've been learning.

11:20-12:20 Activities, games, and crafts (based on the weeks theme)

12:20-12:30 Free Play

There will be several options for children to do/play with

while they wait for their parents to pick them up.

About the Teachers

Hi!!!!
I'm Lauren Clarke. I really want to be a school teacher and a baby sitter. Over the last year I've had a lot of practice babysitting my brothers and sister, but I really wanted to try to teach as well. Because I homeschool and am home during the day, my mom suggested that I could help her teach a preschool for my sister and some friends. She said it would be good practice for teaching and baby sitting! I thought it would be a fun idea and decided to give it a try. We are hoping to find 5 fun kids to join us and we would love for your child to come!!!

Cindy Clarke
We moved to Waxahachie last March and have enjoyed getting to know so many great members of the community. I'm excited to be a part of Lauren's Little Learners Preschool this year. As a homeschool mom of 4 children I've had a lot of experience organizing and teaching in co-ops and clubs. I taught in a preschool/daycare for 3 years prior to having children. I organized and ran a co-op preschool for 2 years when Lauren was 3 and 4, and then started a successful charter school that continues to operate in Utah. Since deciding to homeschool I have started and run several clubs for girls and boys of all ages. In addition to this experience I spent 6 years teaching children ages 1 1/2- 4 years old in our church. I enjoy working with children and especially enjoy preschool age children as they discover what an interesting and exciting world in which we live.
